Knitting 1: Scarves 09/20
Over the two session plus check-ins. Paul will get you going one your first scarf. He'll review cast on, knit and purl stitches, binding off, and other essential skills to confidently send you on your scarf making journey.
Prerequisite: Students should know the skills listed above before enrolling in this course.
NEED TO BRING - Size 10 or 11 needles (24" to 32" circulars or straight needles), 3 skeins of bulky-weight yarn, and tapestry or darning needle.
September 20th Join at 4pm for a tour of the store and to shop supplies if needed! Class begins at 5-6 PM

Meet Paul-
Taught by Paul Robinson a master knitter, fiber artist, designer, teacher, and consultant. He currently works at Zion Lutheran Church and is a Commissioner with the Public Arts Commission for the City of Superior. Paul is a lifelong knitter committed to keeping traditions alive. Paul is a traditional knitter with focus on Scandinavian artistry. He has taught classes through Ingebretsen’s Scandinavian Needle Shop, In the Heart of the Beast Puppet and Mask Theatre, Minneapolis Public Schools Community Education Program, Shannon’s Stained Glassery, and his home. He is the leader of Norge Knitters, a knitting group that formed out of a dog sweater class in 2013, and Norge Knitters Nort here in the Twin Ports. Paul lives in Superior, Wisconsin.
